Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. Our  November Hodgepodges always include a question related to gratitude. What is one small thing you're grateful for today?

My health.  I am still able to be involved physically with grandsons from playing kickball, to soccer, to baseball even though I may need to take a few extra breaks.  I am still able to travel and enjoy some places. And Yes, I still try to exercise daily...not so much eating healthy.

2. Chrysanthemums-pansies-burning bush-ornamental cabbage-camellias...your favorite in an autumn garden? Would we find any of these in your yard/garden this year?

My favorite is the burning bush.  There aren't any in my garden this year.

3. If you could clear out or organize one physical space or mental habit before the year ends, what would it be?

I really need to declutter some toys in my basement.

Mentally I need to quit saying negative thoughts about myself when I end of doing something really stupid.

4. Brussel sprouts...love 'em or no thank you? If you said love 'em how do you like them prepared?

Loathe them!

5. It's reassuring to know that____________________.  No matter what, God is still in control!!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Yesterday (Tuesday) was a beautiful day.  Schools were closed so I was very productive.  I managed to go vote, rake and mulch my leaves, mow my yard and break a door handle!!  So now I am searching for a door handle, which I am pretty sure is no longer in existence!!  Fingers crossed because I do not want to replace my sliding doors because of a door handle!

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!
