Wednesday hodgepodge

1. Do you play games of luck/chance for money? Have you ever played bingo for money? Visited a casino?  Placed a bet on a horse? Bought a lottery ticket?
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and Yes!!  Have I ever won!  NO!  I just get a thrill on doing this-but I limit myself and after I spend my limit I quit!

2.  Will you be preparing and/or dining on the traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage meal this St. Patrick's Day? Mashed-baked-hash browned-french fried...your favorite way to have potatoes?
Probably not having the traditional meal,
As far as potatoes go-anyway is fine with me.

3. What's the last thing you felt 'green with envy' over?
Having some time to enjoy the 'small stuff' and not feel guilty about it.

4.  What's at the end of your rainbow?
A pot of Gold!

5. March 12th marks the anniversary of the death of Anne Frank (June 12, 1929-March, 1945).  Anne's diary detailing her time spent hiding from the Nazi's during the war ranks as one of the best selling books of all time.  Besides your blog, do you keep any sort of diary or journal?  Was this a habit you developed as a child or is journaling something new for you?

I began keeping a journal for my grandson. Writing down the 'little milestones' and special happenings that goes on in his life. Grandson is 4 and one day I hope he appreciates this.

6. What's an item in your home or closet that contains every color of the rainbow?
Bath towels.  I don't have a color scheme now-so all  towels are a different color.  If you would have told me this a few years ago, I would have cringed.  Before we bought this older house and remodeled -my 5 baths had a color scheme-not now.

7.  Write a limerick with you as the subject.  You can do it!!  Just remember this is a family friendly blog...don't make me get out my wooden spoon.

There is a woman named Tammy
Who came home from Zumba all clammy
To class she went on Monday
To melt the fat away
Way to go for you-Gammy

8.  Insert your own random thought here.
Relay for Life meeting last night.  Whew!

  2. I used to stick to a color scheme, too, but these days my towels are all different colors, too! When all is said and done, it really doesn't matter--does it?!

  3. It thrills me to and I set a limit! I am sure your grandson will appreciate the journal. I hope to do scrapbooks when I have grandchildren.

  4. I do like supporting friends in Relay for Life...add a link on your blog once you have a site. I'm sure your grandson will one day enjoy and appreciate the journal. His wife too, although I suppose that's hard to imagine at this point in time : )
