1. January 24th is National Compliment Day. Is it easy or not so easy for you to accept a compliment? Share a recent compliment you've given or received.

It is hard for me to accept a compliment....I don't know why.  I recently received a compliment about how with all that has happened I have handled it all with grace.
I would rather give compliments....I gave a compliment the other day for someone just stepping up to the plate and doing her best.

He finally arrived!!!
Baby Blake arrived Monday, January 15, 2018 at 8:32pm.  A bundle of joy weighing 9lbs. 3 oz. and 22 inches long. Mom, Dad, and Blake are doing great! For the record, I don't think I would have looked that gorgeous after giving birth to a 9 pounder!

I was so thrilled to know all were healthy and doing fine.
Yes, that is my finger I was still thrilled! A proud Auntie!! By the way she is getting married in October!

Now my little one....has gone from being in my arms
to holding her precious son in her arms
This little guy has stolen my heart!

My experience being a mentor was challenging because I wanted everything to be perfect...and I wanted the new teachers to learn what I value in education....which is every child is different and although standard test are important the value of learning about each child is just as important.
