Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. ASAP typically stands for 'as soon as possible'. What else could it stand for in your life right now?

Always
Say
A
Prayer

I have begun my days with this...and end my nights.

2. Are you the last person to speak up in a group or the first to have an idea? Why do you suppose that is? Is it a good thing or no?

I am not the last person to speak, nor the first person to speak.  Personally, I like to listen first, wrap the thoughts around my head, then I say something.  Usually, what I have to say will not always be what a person or persons want to hear.

3. What do you remember best about being 12?

I remember being in the 7th grade.....and two of my teachers were expecting and we had a surprise baby shower for both.

4. January 18th is National Winnie the Pooh Day. Which character do you relate to the most, and why? If you're stumped go here for inspiration.

The quiz says I am Winnie
So Winnie I am!   I am friendly and I do get into jams.

I am okay with being Winnie.

5. What's an app you use that helps simplify or make life easier for you in some way?

Goggle Map....love it!  Want leave home without it ha!

6. San Francisco (CA), San Diego (CA), San Juan (PR) San Antonio (TX) Sanibel (FL)...you have an all expenses paid long weekend to one of these destinations. Which one do you choose and why?

San Francisco---love to see drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, ride a cable car, and check out the music venue.

7. Share with us a song that makes you feel nostalgic? For what?

"Always and Forever" by Heatwave

Yearning for the good 'ole' days.  When hearing this song, I am reminded of my college days in Powell Dorm with roommates.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

Saturday evening, hub and I went to listen to daughter and her praise team sing.  Their church was having a Relay for Life fundraiser---food was involved.
After the meal and music we headed home.  Hub pulled into the driveway and the car would not turn off.  He struggled and struggled trying to get the car to turn off.  After 10 minutes he succeeded, BUT the key would not come out of the ignition.  Again, the struggle began.  He called his friend who is a mechanic and walked him through the process of getting the key out of the ignition when one has the key stuck. I couldn't go in the house because I had left my keys and the key to the house was also on the car key chain. After 30 minutes he succeeded!
The entire time, I  just laughed.  I told hub  if he and I were dating no one would believe this story!  Stuck in the driveway for 40 minutes.

  2. Always Say A Prayer...that was my pick, too! It sure helps me! Laughing definitely does lighten the mood when a situation takes a turn. I try to find something to laugh about everyday.

  6. Oh my, that is too funny! Although frustrating. I am a Winnie also according to the little quiz. Our first two answers are alike, but just worded differently. How thoughtful of your class to give baby showers to your teachers.

  9. I loved your retelling of your experience, and got a chuckle out of the parking analogy. "Always Say a Prayer!" So many of you wrote that, which delights me to know the great ladies with whom I blog.
