2. Are you the last person to speak up in a group or the first to have an idea? Why do you suppose that is? Is it a good thing or no?
I am not the last person to speak, nor the first person to speak. Personally, I like to listen first, wrap the thoughts around my head, then I say something. Usually, what I have to say will not always be what a person or persons want to hear.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Saturday evening, hub and I went to listen to daughter and her praise team sing. Their church was having a Relay for Life fundraiser---food was involved.
After the meal and music we headed home. Hub pulled into the driveway and the car would not turn off. He struggled and struggled trying to get the car to turn off. After 10 minutes he succeeded, BUT the key would not come out of the ignition. Again, the struggle began. He called his friend who is a mechanic and walked him through the process of getting the key out of the ignition when one has the key stuck. I couldn't go in the house because I had left my keys and the key to the house was also on the car key chain. After 30 minutes he succeeded!
The entire time, I just laughed. I told hub if he and I were dating no one would believe this story! Stuck in the driveway for 40 minutes.

Laughing when things don't go right is one of the best ways to deal with life.

Always Say A Prayer...that was my pick, too! It sure helps me! Laughing definitely does lighten the mood when a situation takes a turn. I try to find something to laugh about everyday.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, no one would have believed that story about the car keys. Haha. Laughter always helps, in my opinion. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike! I have the same ASAP! Have a good week.

Oh my, that is too funny! Although frustrating. I am a Winnie also according to the little quiz. Our first two answers are alike, but just worded differently. How thoughtful of your class to give baby showers to your teachers.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your ASAP! I enjoyed reading your hodgepodge today!

ReplyDeleteI loved your retelling of your experience, and got a chuckle out of the parking analogy. "Always Say a Prayer!" So many of you wrote that, which delights me to know the great ladies with whom I blog.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great ASAP. Thanks for stopping by. I've put more info on the challenges on a new post on my blog. https://waffle-with-wendy.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/january-self-care-challenge.html
