1. My very first edition of The Wednesday Hodgepodge was published on November 10, 2010 (linked here if you're curious). Tell us something about your life from that era.
My late hub was finishing up his chemo treatment. Oldest daughter was in pharmacy school and youngest daughter was a junior in college and playing college basketball. This was a stressful and busy time for me.
2. What's a song you love that relates to time in some way?
"Somewhere" by Barbara Streisand
3. May is nearly upon us. When did you last need to yell 'MAY DAY-MAY DAY!!'?
Here lately it is about EVERYDAY!!! While visiting a dear bestie friend in the hospital another friend who was with me fainted and had to be taken to the emergency room, my daughter was taken to the emergency room a week ago because of being hit in the eye with a nerf gun, and this type of thing keeps going on and on. Plus, I deleted this account that I blog on and just now was able to restore it!! GEEZ!!
4. How do you feel about food trucks? Is this a dining experience you enjoy? Do you have a favorite What's something you've ordered from a food truck?
I don't mind ordering from a food truck after I have inspected it. I really don't have a favorite. Mostly, I order a sandwich and fries from a food truck.
5. We're bidding farewell to April...what are three adjectives you might use to describe the month you're leaving behind.
Lousy, challenged, and unhealthy
6. Insert your own random thought here.
So glad I am able to get my account back up and running!!
I have been traveling to T-Ball and Coach pitch baseball games.
Blake is playing Coach Pitch Baseball. Being in the first grade, some of his games aren't played till 8pm which is too late, my opinion.
These two are playing T-Ball.
So I have been spending a lot of my time at the ballpark. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!
I agree with you - an 8:00 p.m. game is too late for a first grader. They should be in bed about that time!! It sounds like a fresh start in the month of May is needed!!
ReplyDeleteI wondered what happened to your blog. Glad you're back! 8 PM is late for t-ball. The boys have had a couple of 7 PM games but even then they aren't home until 8:30 and then they need showers and snacks and it's a much later than normal bedtime. I hate to hear about all the ER activity and of course am praying for Donna too. Such a tough thing to be facing. Hope May is brighter for you!
ReplyDelete2010 does sound like a very busy and stressful time for you and reading it sounds like now is pretty stressful too especially with the hospital dramas.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Blake with the baseball. 8pm does seem really late. Eek!
Oh boy! What a month!! So sorry about the blog issue. That's always a fear, that I'll accidentally lose everything. I've thought of downloading it, and actually tried to look into the possibility of printing it out...I don't even want to know how many pages it would be..lol. Hopefully May is smooth sailign for you
