Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. What does adventure mean to you?

Adventure is something that is exciting!  I have always wanted to go skydiving, not happened yet.  But I would consider this an adventure.

On the other hand, life is sometimes an adventure...everyday!!

2.  What are your thoughts on tipping? What businesses or service providers do you regularly tip? Do you resent being asked if you'd like to add a tip? What about when a suggested amount is presented?

Tipping is an appreciation on the service one received.  I do not mind tipping, if the service was adequate or the service went beyond what was expected.  I regularly tip in restaurants.  Tipping can motivate service workers to provide you with better service, but I do kinda resent being asked if I want to add a tip.  It doesn't bother me if a suggested amount of tipping is presented on my bill.  In a way, it is kinda helpful to me so I don't have to calculate the math in my head.

3. I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream...do we? Is ice cream a favorite treat at your house? What's your favorite flavor? Regular, soft serve, gelato, sherbet, or some sort of non-dairy version of ice cream...what's your pleasure?

Ice cream is not a favorite treat at my house unless the grandsons are here!  Mint chocolate chip is my favorite flavor and it must be in a waffle cone.  My pleasure is just plain ole regular ice cream.

4. What's your 'back in my day, we____________________ ' story or saying?

' Back in my day, we never stayed inside the house'  All the kids would quickly finish our chores and head outside to play, ride our bikes, etc.

5. Somehow this is our last Hodgepodge in the month of June. Next week's Hodgepodge lands in July. Wow. Sum up your June using three adjectives.

Cruising, blooming, and long (Solstital)  It is hard to believe June is winding up!!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I am enjoying my break.

I had to do some major work in my garden last week after returning home from my cruise.  So far, the garden is really coming on.  I just pray we don't have a drought like we did last year.

Please continue to remember my dear friend, who is battling brain cancer, in your prayers.  I returned home yesterday from Atlanta after visiting with her.  She is a fighter and is continuing to fight this diseaseShe has 8 more treatments left.

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. Summer officially begins this week (in the northern hemisphere)...what was your favorite thing to do in the summer when you were a kid? What do you like most about summer now?

When I was a kid, I loved playing outside!  I would finish my chores and then head outside.  I love riding my bike everywhere!!!  When it got dark, we would all play in the street!

I love sitting outside on my porch, on my deck in the back, or underneath the shade tree in my swing.

2.  Something you'll celebrate this summer?

My birthday in July.  I was almost a firecracker!!!

3. Summer tastes like? Smells like? Sounds like? l

Summer tastes like watermelon...sweet and mango...sticky.  Summer smells like sunscreen.  Summer sounds noisy...children playing, teenagers driving with their music blaring, and cicades  with their loud buzzing clicking sound.

4. June 18th is National Splurge Day...what's the last thing you splurged on? What might you splurge on today?

I purchased two purses!!!!  I am not splurging on anything else...well, maybe if the grandsons want something!

5. Share a favorite summer quote, saying, song lyric, or meme.

"Seas the day"

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my cruise.  The water is so peaceful.

Say a prayer for my dear friend, Donna.  I am heading to Georgia in a few days to spend some time with her.  The cancer treatment is really taken a toll on her body.

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. What do birthdays look like in your house? How are they celebrated? Any special traditions? What about birthdays growing up?

Hum.....I am just thankful to celebrate another trip around the sun!!  My birthday is the day before July 4th, so I use the think the town was decorated for me.  My small town would put up flags and decorations a day or two before the fourth.  Imagine how I felt when I realized the decorations weren't for me!

My oldest daughter was born December 30th.  Six days after Christmas and this was hard.  I remember telling hub no more December birthdays.  But we didn't learn.  My youngest daughter's birthday is December 26th. GEEZ!!  We still celebrate her birthday on December 26 and not the day before.  This past Christmas, I was a daughter's house for Christmas brunch.  Her in-laws were also there.  After exchanging gifts, her mother-in-law gave her birthday gift to her wrapped in Christmas paper.  I saw the look of disappointment on daughter's face.  I mean it is hard having a birthday after Christmas.

2. Someone is sending you a dozen roses...what color are you hoping for? Are you someone who gets accused of seeing the world through rose colored glasses? Is your accuser correct? Elaborate.

Yellow roses!!  Now that I am older, I am accused of seeing the world through rose colored glasses.  Yes, they are correct because I truly try to focus on the positive.  Even when our country seemed to be spiraling out of control, I was thankful I lived in the USA where I could go to church and worship God without being fearful of being killed.

3. June 4th is National Cheese Day...will you celebrate? What's something (besides a burger) you make in the summer months that calls for cheese?

No, I will not celebrate National Cheese Day.

I usually make a sausage and cheese dip in the summer.  It goes great with any type of chips, crackers, or veggies.

4. 'tis the season...any weddings on your June calendar? What's the first word that comes to mind when I say marriage?

Commitment

Marriage is a mutual commitment and willing to share responsibilities.  It is for better or worse and in sickness and health.

5. What are you most looking forward to this June?

I am leaving Friday on a cruise.  I have never been on a cruise before; a little scared of the unknown on what to expect and also excited to visit places I have never had the chance to visit.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

My Women's Bible Study Group met Sunday.  Now, I must admit, we didn't study a particular topic that day.  There is a lady in our group who is going through some rough times.  We let her vent to our group by letting her know what is said here stays here.  You know, sometimes, we all need to let people vent. And as women we need a safe place with Christian women to be able to let our hair down.

Yesterday, daughter was cleaning out the garage. and Liam (5yr old) was beating a hammer against the concrete floor of the garage.  She asked him what he was doing and he replied trying to kill something.  About that time, their dog, Duke, was barking like crazy.  Liam was trying to kill a snake!!!  It was a corn snake.  Daughter grabbed Liam, ran in the house, and called the Sheriff Department.  Why she called the Sheriff, is because in the county they live in the Sheriff has taken over Animal Control.

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life.

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. What's your favorite room in your house and why?

It would have to be my sunroom.  I love to sit and read in the sunroom on cool days.  In the winter, I usually sit in the sunroom, and watch it snow.  The sunroom gets hot in the summer, but that is when I spend my time sitting on my porch.

2. What's something that will instantly annoy you?

Rude customers in a store yelling at their child or spouse.
Here lately, it is drivers riding my tail on the interstate.  I have my cruise on 75 and they are still riding my tail.  So many times I have to fight the urge to not step on the brakes.

3. May 28th is National Hamburger Day...will you celebrate? How do you like yours? If you're not cooking at home is there a favorite place you like to go for a burger? Did you ever work in a fast food  restaurant?

No, I will not celebrate.  This is my last teacher workday before summer break.  I like my hamburger well-done.  My favorite place to grab a burger would be the Dip Dog Stand.  This is famous for dip dogs, but I prefer their hamburgers.

I have never worked in a fast food restaurant.

4. What are three scents you like?

Citrus especially lemon, Cinnamon, and Pumpkin spice.

5. What do you miss most about being a kid?

Not having a care in the world!!  AND enjoying the simple things.

I kept all three grandkids Saturday evening and night.  The boys were digging for worms and hearing the shriek of joy everytime they found one was magical.  They even build a house for the worms!!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Thursday was their last T-Ball game.  They played under the lights because the game didn't start till 8pm and boy was it COLD!!

This little guy played his last game Monday.

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. May 20th is World Bee Day...what's something that's kept you 'busy as a bee' lately?

T-Ball and Baseball.  The twins play T-Ball and play on Thursdays and Saturdays.  Blake plays Coach Pitch baseball and plays on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.  I love watching them play, but shew I am only home a couple days a week.  I know I don't have to go to every game, but I do!  The season is coming to an end this week.  I am kinda glad, but I wouldn't change one thing about this season of baseball life.

Late hub played baseball and even coached our high school team.  Watching the boys play, brought memories back.  I so wish hub was here to watch his grands play, but I know he has the best view from Heaven.

2. Do you like honey? What's something you make or enjoy that calls for honey?

I like honey if it is local honey.  I do not make anything with honey, but I do put honey in my coffee.

3. "Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body." Proverbs 16:24

What's a proverb you love, or one that speaks to you or has helped you in some way?

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; don't rely on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

Trust God even when you don't understand what/why something is happening.  To completely put my trust in God and not myself.  God will lead me in the right direction when I seek his guidance and presence.

The Bible is full of Proverbs, a whole book in fact, if that helps with your answer. The word proverb is defined as 'a short pithy saying in general use, stating a general truth or piece of advice'

4. Tell us about a 'sweet' moment in your life recently that filled you with joy, gratitude, or peace.

Last week I had a dermatologist appointment and had to have a mole removed from my forehead.  Right after the appointment, was Blake's baseball game. ( I went from school, to dermatologist appointment, to baseball)  The twins saw the bandage on my forehead and  started asking questions (million of them) and I had to explain a hundred times what happened but I told them I was okay.  I was watching Blake, it was his turn to hit the ball and out of the blue Liam (a twin) said, "Mamaw I just now prayed for your boo boo on your head."  Now, I lost it!!  Here I was yelling for Blake to hit the ball and Liam was thinking about my boo boo and praying,. I was filled with joy and gratitude.

5. When you were a child, what did you want to 'be' when you grew up? How close did you come to that?

I wanted to be a pediatric doctor.  At university, I did major in pre-med and took all those hard classes (to me they were) from microbiology to organic and inorganic chemistry, etc.  Then I fell deeply in love and changed majors to elementary and special education teacher.

I didn't come close to being a doctor, but I am still interacting with children.,.Middle Schoolers.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Even with all the baseball playing, I still had some time to begin my garden.

Lettuce and potatoes looking good!!!!!

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!!!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. What's something you're curious about right now?

I am curious about a lot of things....why are boys associated with the color blue and girls associated with the color pink?, why do onions make me cry? etc.  BUT the biggest something I am curious about is  living in the USA a country with incredible wealth and some resources, that there is such a huge number of people living in poverty and many people who are homeless?  I just can't wrap my head around this.

2. If you could plan the perfect girl's weekend getaway, where would you go and what would be on the agenda? Do you have anything like this on your calendar in the next few months?

I would rent a cabin in the mountains.  My agenda would include:  horseback riding, walks, visiting coffee shops and small business stores.  The cabin must have a wrap around porch with rocking chairs and a grill.

I am going on a cruise the first of June.  This is a far cry from the mountains. lol

3. What's the most unique item in your refrigerator right now?

I had to open my refrigerator and see!!  It is only me, so my refrigerator is only 1/3 full.  The only unique item I see, which isn't really unique is dog food.

4. In this season of your life, what do you find most challenging?

Memory skills and physical abilities.  Here lately, I forget too much.  AND my physical abilities..my mind says , 'Yes", but then I take a tumble.  These are challenging for me, and I am not use to this.

5. Do you collect anything? If so why that?

Not anymore.  I use to collect lighthouses, but with age and moving so much. I don't collect them anymore.  Here lately, I collect DUST!!!  There is so much going on these last few months, I tell the grandkids don't touch the furniture or they will get dust on their hands!!!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Rainy, stormy evenings around here.

Baseball games are coming to a close.  School is coming to a close.  I feel like I am ready for all this closure.

I did get to work in my garden before all the rain hit!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. Let's compare this May to last May. What's changed? What remains very much the same?

Nothing much has changed.  I am still involved in Bible Group Study.  The biggest change is my time in the evenings is now spent at the ballpark.  Oldest grandson plays on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  The twins play on Saturdays.  I have been living off of popcorn.

So far, it has rained a lot and last May it rained a lot!!  I like to have never got my plants in the ground.  But then our summer was rainless!!  Still in the midst of giving all these Standards of Learning Test and still stressed as ever.  A test should not determine what a student knows.  AND if I were to assign a test, it would be something a student is interested in reading and not Marco Polo!!

2. What's something you may do this month?

I may start walking more.  Because of ballgames, I have really slacked off of walking.   When I walk, I can solve my problems and feel so much better.  But rushing home from school to feed my dog, jumping in my car to head to the ballpark, and getting home around 9 or later, I don't have it in me to walk.

3. Mother's Day is approaching (in the US of A)...in what way(s) are you like your mother?

I am not like my mom very much.  I guess when it comes to cleaning house, I am like my mom.  Even though it is only me and my dog, I can't stand it if I don't tidy up daily.

4. Did you have a favorite book as a child? What was it and why was it a favorite.

Rascal.  This book is about a boy who has a pet raccoon named Rascal.  It is a true story.  The boy and Rascal do a lot of fun adventures together, but he releases Rascal back to the woods.

5. Are you more of a tortoise or a hare? Explain.

Hare---My mind is an energized bunny.  Sometimes, I don't really listen to an entire conversation because my mind is thinking of an answer.  At night, my mind has a hard time shutting off. I give a quick idea before really thinking it through.  I am restless if a meeting lasts too long.  I like to check off lists and I like to finish projects way before the deadline.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Shew!!!  I am tired.  I know today is only Wednesday, but I have something every night this week!!  From baseball games, to meetings, to college graduation.

Have a great week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. My very first edition of The Wednesday Hodgepodge was published on November 10, 2010 (linked here if you're curious). Tell us something about your life from that era.

My late hub was finishing up his chemo treatment.  Oldest daughter was in pharmacy school and youngest daughter was a junior in college and playing college basketball.  This was a stressful and busy time for me.

2. What's a song you love that relates to time in some way?

"Somewhere" by Barbara Streisand

3. May is nearly upon us. When did you last need to yell 'MAY DAY-MAY DAY!!'?

Here lately it is about EVERYDAY!!!   While visiting a dear bestie friend in the hospital another friend who was with me fainted and had to be taken to the emergency room, my daughter was taken to the emergency room a week ago because of being hit in the eye with a nerf gun, and this type of thing keeps going on and on.  Plus, I deleted this account that I blog on and just now was able to restore it!!  GEEZ!!

4. How do you feel about food trucks? Is this a dining experience you enjoy?  Do you have a favorite What's something you've ordered from a food truck?

I don't mind ordering from a food truck after I have inspected it.  I really don't have a favorite.  Mostly, I order a sandwich and fries from a food truck.

5. We're bidding farewell to April...what are three adjectives you might use to describe the month you're leaving behind.

Lousy, challenged, and unhealthy

6. Insert your own random thought here.

So glad I am able to get my account back up and running!!

I have been traveling to T-Ball and Coach pitch baseball games.

Blake is playing Coach Pitch Baseball.  Being in the first grade, some of his games aren't played till 8pm which is too late, my opinion.

These two are playing T-Ball.

So I have been spending a lot of my time at the ballpark.  But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. February 26th is National Tell A Fairy Tale Day...have you read a fairy tale lately? What's your favorite fairy tale? Do you believe in 'happily ever after'?

Yes.  I have puppets for the fairy tale,, The Three Little Pigs.  The twins love acting out this tale with the puppets especially the three little pigs voice.

My favorite fairy tale would be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Yes, I believe in 'happily ever after'  I had this with hub and I got my fairy tale.

2. Complete one of the following sentences with a thought relating to your life currently-

  • Once upon a time___________
  • A long time ago________________
  • In a place far far away__________
  • A long time ago, people rarely hurt your feelings.  Now, people don't seem to hurt your feelings, and they go on like nothing was ever said.

3. Which of the following 'fairy tale foods' is your favorite? Which have you made/eaten most recently?

porridge/oatmeal (Goldilocks and The Three Bears), an apple (Snow White), a gingerbread cookie (The Gingerbread Man), pumpkin soup/pie/bread (Cinderella), peas (The Princess and the Pea), beans (Jack and The Beanstalk) or a cup of tea (Alice in Wonderland)

An apple. I usually eat an apple daily and it is my favorite. Maybe this is why Snow White is my favorite fairy tale!

4. What's your idea of fun? ite

Going somewhere to listen to music and maybe dance/ taking walks.  Fun is what you make it.

5. Next week's Hodgepodge lands in March. Is that right? I guess so.  Give us one noun, one verb, and one adjective that tell us something about your February. To make you think a little harder, you cannot use the words cold or snowy.

February----month (noun)

February--lengthening (snow never ending) (Verb)

February--dangerous (adjective)

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Yesterday, the sun was shining and the temps were in the high 50s!!!!  It has been a long, hard winter for me.

Saturday is the grands last basketball game.  Next up...T-Ball and Coach Pitch (whatever that is).  They (son-in-law and daughter) went shopping for the oldest grandson a new bat.  She was texting me the prices of bats and I about fainted.  The oldest grandson is seven and the cheapest bat they bought for him was $200!!!  She said there were bats for his age up to $800!  WOW!! Nope, they are still young, and I really don't think I would have paid $200 for a bat.  This is plum RIDICULOUS!!

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life.

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. Many of our earliest presidents created words or expressions widely used today. Teddy Roosevelt is credited with mollycoddle, pack rat, frazzle, and loose cannon...which of those words/phrases currently relates to your life in some way?

Loose cannon!!!  I don't want to go into detail about the 'white elephant'

2. Have you visited many (or any) of the US Presidents homes, monuments, libraries or related sites? If so what's been your favorite? Are there any you particularly want to see? Here's a link to presidential sites listed by state which is kind of fun to read-Presidential Places by State. And since several bloggers who participate in the HP each week live outside the US, here's a link to Presidential Places Outside the US. Have you seen any of those?

My favorite is still Mount Vernon but a close second is John F. Kennedy's gravesite.

3. February 20th is National Cherry Pie Day...will you celebrate? Given your choice of cherry pie, cherry cobbler, cheesecake with a cherry topping, or black forest cake which would you choose?

I am not really a cheery kinda gal.  I would have to go with cheesecake with cherry topping, but would secretly take the cherry topping off   lol

4. Last time you worked a puzzle of some kind? Something that had you puzzled recently?

Last week with the grands.  I am not a puzzle gal, but the grands, especially the oldest one, IS!

People have me puzzled.  I just don't understand how one minute a person cares and the next...poof!!  This is so hurtful to others.  If you don't like someone or if you don't want a relationship then tell that person, don't let it drag on for a year and then tell someone you all aren't compatible!!  This makes me so angry!

5. Of the early blooming flowers (January-early March depending on your zone) which one's your favorite?

snowdrops, lenten roses, pansies, violets, snapdragons, reticulated iris, crocus, winter jasmine

Do you have any of these in your own yard/garden?

Pansies are my favorite.  None of these are in my yard or garden.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

This weather, ya'll it has been a hard winter for me!!  Now, I really don't mind to see a beautiful snowfall but too much snow is getting to me.  I never really learned to drive in the snow because schools were closed and I never had to get out in the mess.  So, here lately I have been kinda stuck.  After the snow, this past weekend was a flood!!  The rain was pelting down and the rivers and creeks were spilling over.  Many people were evacuated.  Then Sunday night, I thought my house was going to blow away.  The wind was howling.   We had another virtual day of learning on Monday.  I think we have missed 20 days of school so far.  AND more snow, sleet, and rain is headed out way Tuesday -Wednesday.  I am so ready for some warmer weather!!!

Ya'll stay safe and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. Did you watch the Super Bowl? Did your team win? What's your favorite game day snack for  whatever sport is happening?

I did watch the Super Bowl.  I really didn't have a team to pull for, so I didn't  care who won.  Since, it was just me I ate a baked potato.

2. What's your 'superpower'?

Besides being organized (I am not OCD, BUT CDO haha) here lately,it is being very flexible!!  With the weather we are having this year, we are having virtual instruction days.  Now, since I am OCD, and with technology not going as I planned (internet crashes, assignments won't post, etc.) I have been very flexible and maybe a little creative on getting my instruction across!!

3. Will you do anything special on Valentine's Day? If so do share. Any thoughts on/about this particular holiday? Share a favorite verse or quote relating to love.

I am a widow, so nothing special on Valentine's Day.  BUT, when hub and I were together, we really didn't do anything special on this day.  We celebrated loving each other everyday.  There were many occasions, for no special reasons, I had flowers delivered to school or would come home to a nice dinner he had prepared, and even sometimes a weekend trip was planned.

I know people who go all out and celebrate Valentine's Day, but just show some love all the time; not just for one day.

I really can't think of a favorite quote relating to love, BUT one quote/saying I don't agree with is...Love means never having to say you are sorry.  To me, love is saying you are sorry.  Maybe you had a bad day at work and lashed out at hub for no reason...then say "I'm sorry."

4. Are you a fan of the rom-com genre? If so what's one of your favorites? If you're not a movie go-er then what about a book you love that features a great love story? How about a favorite love song?

I haven't been watching much television/movies these days.   A book that I have read and enjoyed the movie is The Notebook.

"Unchained Melody" my favorite love song.

5. Let's get creative...write an acrostic using the word L-O-V-E.

Love you always

Obsessed with you until the

Very

End of your life.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Last week the stomach bug came to my house.  I was so sick and when I am sick, I cry.  And being by yourself sick, is no fun at all.  Saturday, was the first day I had missed watching grands play any sport, so I cried.  I didn't feel like reading a book, so I cried.  I had purchased the grands a swingset, but since I was sick they didn't come up, so I cried again! It was not the best weekend!!  BUT I felt so much better on Monday!!

I can't wait till I see their faces, hearing their giggles, seeing their fights, as they play on this!!

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

From this Side of the Pond

1. What area of your life feels like you're stuck in a Groundhog's Day loop, doing the same thing over and over? Does it bother you or is that just how life is in this particular season?

Saturdays!!  I get up and head to basketball games.  The twins play at 9:00am and Blake plays at 10:30am.  I usually get back home around 12:00.  Then I need to finish up some housework, go to the store and purchase some food for the week, do some laundry, and prepare for Sunday.  I know this is just a season of basketball, but daughter reminded me baseball begins in March!  So here we go again...all over!

2. Something that makes your heart skip a beat?

Watching grandsons play basketball.  Oh how I wish hub was still living.  He was a huge sports fan, and I know without a doubt he would have me at the basketball game at least an hour before the game started.

I heart skips a beat when the boys give me a huge hug and say , "Mamaw I love you. Thank you for coming to watch me play."

Oldest one getting coached.
Twins getting ready to play.

3. Do you wear your heart on your sleeve or are you more of a closed book? Elaborate.

That depends.  If I am sad, I definitely wear my heart on my sleeve.  I just can't hide the tears.  And my face tells it all.  When someone hurts my feelings, it shows.

If I am angry, I just leave the situation.  Words hurt and I don't want to say something I would regret later. AND I don't want the person who I am angry with know that I am angry.

4. According to Prevention Magazine, these are 25 of the best foods for heart health-

wild salmon, sardines, liver, walnuts, almonds, chia seeds, oatmeal, blueberries, coffee, red wine, green tea, soy milk, dark chocolate, raisins, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, whole grains, apples, oranges, grapefruit, avocado, avocado oil, olive oil

Which five do you include in your diet most often? Are there any foods on the list you simply cannot abide?

Almonds ( I snack on these constantly), blueberries (when I can catch them ripe), coffee, red wine and apples.

The ones I simply cannot eat are: sardines, liver (I do like chicken liver) and Brussels sprouts.  The rest I am okay with.

5. What was the last piece of furniture you bought? Is there a piece of furniture you need/want to purchase this year?

A bedroom suit for the boys to have at my house.  This was probably 3 years ago. The boys were able to pick out their sheets and comforters and a rug to match.

I would like some new patio furniture.  Trouble is, on my patio, the boys have their play cabin and they still use it.  Not so much as playing inside the cabin but climbing on top of the cabin shooting bad guys

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I am loving our warm temps!!!  Yay!!  And the days are getting longer!!  What more could I want??

Have a great rest of the week and Enjoy Life!

Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What does adventure mean to you?  Adventure is something that is exciting!  I have always wanted to go skydiving, not happened yet.  But ...
